Aaron and Amber Forgey are a husband and wife team creating artwork of all types. After meeting the first week of art school at the Kansas City Art Institute back in 1996 they married in 2000 and have a beautiful little red head that constantly inspires. Life revolves around art in the Forgey household. Both are art teachers in the austin area and create on nights, weekends and holidays. Aaron creates sculptural ceramic objects. His current focus is a mask series based off of a plaster cast of his face. Amber is a painter. Amber's current focus is working with transparency in color, shape and eluding at traditional items that painters would normally paint without being overt. Both life long learners and are constantly striving to further their artistic abilities. Forgey's Funky Fine Arts is available to create beautiful murals on any surface in or out of your home or place of business. They are also available to create commissions of anything a client might desire.
